🎯 Role 1: Head of Trading

We’re hiring a Head of Trading to lead our internal market operations across centralized and decentralized venues. You will architect, execute, and evolve trading strategies that seed liquidity, capture arbitrage opportunities, and scale volume across integrated partners and networks. This is a zero-to-one leadership role within our internal desk (e.g., Calypso) with direct impact on protocol performance and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage automated market-making strategies across DEXs, CEXs, and cross-chain venues
Build and refine arbitrage, latency-sensitive, and yield-maximizing strategies using both off-chain and on-chain data
Monitor real-time markets for inefficiencies and trading opportunities across L2s, sidechains, and cross-chain bridges
Manage capital allocation and risk dynamically across venues, assets, and timeframes
Collaborate with engineering to implement proprietary trading systems and custom execution logic
Work closely with the protocol team to simulate and forecast liquidity demands across integrations
Scale a small team of quantitative researchers, execution engineers, and operations leads as desk AUM and mandate grows

Required Experience:

4+ years in crypto trading, market making, or HFT environments (CeFi or DeFi)
Proven track record in deploying profitable arbitrage or market-neutral strategies
Deep understanding of liquidity mechanics on-chain (AMMs, bridges, order books, gas costs)
Experience building or managing algorithmic trading systems or signal pipelines
Familiarity with cross-chain architecture, MEV dynamics, and latency optimization
Strong programming and backtesting skills in Python, Rust, or equivalent

Nice to Have:

Experience running trading desks or leading execution at a crypto prop shop or fund
Background in quantitative finance, math, or computer science
Knowledge of stablecoin flows, macro crypto cycles, and exchange microstructure
Exposure to advanced simulation tools, DeFi analytics (e.g., Dune, Chaos Labs), or MEV research

You’ll work closely with leadership to craft visuals that cut through the noise — whether it’s a viral CapCut video, a sleek pitch deck, or motion graphics that tell a deeper story.
